Pierce Aerospace announced that it was awarded a $10 million Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) subcontract from Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering and innovative technology solutions, to support evolving requirements from the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate.
Red Cat Holdings, Inc. announced it has received authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to operate unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in U.S. airspace without broadcasting Remote Identification (Remote ID) information, specifically for the purpose of aeronautical research.
The John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences (UND Aerospace) has entered a one-year partnership with Vigilant Aerospace Systems to utilize the company’s drone safety software and airspace management system FlightHorizon. A memorandum of understanding was signed late last year to formalize the agreement.
