Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI) announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Silvus Technologies, Inc. (“Silvus”) for $4.4 billion in up-front consideration. Silvus designs and develops software-defined high-speed mobile ad-hoc network technology that enables highly secure data, video and voice communications without the need for fixed infrastructure.
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) has moved into the ground testing phase of development on the YFQ-42A production-representative test vehicle for the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program in preparation for its planned first flight later this summer.
