General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) has moved into the ground testing phase of development on the YFQ-42A production-representative test vehicle for the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program in preparation for its planned first flight later this summer. Ground testing began May 7.
Joby Aviation, Inc., a company developing electric air taxis for commercial passenger service, announced it has reached a landmark moment in its aircraft test program, successfully completing flights with a full transition from vertical to cruise flight, and back again, with a pilot onboard.
The County of Ventura’s Economic Vitality Unit has been awarded $550,000 to establish an Advanced Air Mobility Innovation Center.
