The U.S. Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship Mission Modules program office has successfully delivered critical Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) capabilities to the forward-deployed Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Indianapolis (LCS 17).
The North Dakota Unmanned Autonomous Systems Council (NDUASC) announced its partnership with Job Service North Dakota, a critical collaboration aimed at showcasing the expansive UAS job opportunities in the state. This partnership highlights North Dakota’s leadership as a hub for UAS innovation, both regionally and nationally.
Shield AI, the defense technology company building autonomy for the world, announced it has started training with Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces to prepare Ukrainian warfighters on operations with V-BAT, the vertical take-off and landing uncrewed aerial system proven in electronic warfare environments.
The Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. presented the 2023 Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Squadron of the Year Award to the 111th Attack Squadron of the Texas Air National Guard, Joint Base Ellington Field, Texas. The award is given annually to the Squadron that distinguishes itself through its employment of RPA in meritorious service.
Schiebel, as part of the SEACURE consortium led by Thales, has been awarded a grant agreement under the European Defence Fund’s call for unmanned anti-submarine and seabed warfare solutions. Schiebel's latest product, the CAMCOPTER® S-300, will serve as the dedicated Unmanned Air System (UAS) for this project.
