ZenaTech, Inc. provided an update on its subsidiary ZenaDrone’s previously announced plans to obtain the Green Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) certification and announced its intention to submit an application for the IQ Square drone at the beginning of Q3 2025.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will conduct drone-detection testing in Cape May, New Jersey, between April 14-25. The FAA will operate several large drones and more than 100 commercial off-the-shelf drones during the two-week period. Testing will take place over the water and near the Cape May Ferry Terminal during the daytime on weekdays only.
The County of Ventura’s Economic Vitality Unit has been awarded $550,000 to establish an Advanced Air Mobility Innovation Center. The grant is part of a $9 million Catalyst Predevelopment Funding Program from Uplift Central Coast, an organization which provides strategic grants to support community-driven projects that promote equity, sustainability, and regional resilience.
Pierce Aerospace, a dual-use aerospace technology firm and global leader in drone Remote Identification technologies, announced that it has integrated with Skylark Labs to provide new drone detection capabilities to the US-Mexico Border and beyond. This new system integration can be utilized in a variety of security applications - such as securing airspace at military bases, airports, prisons, and critical infrastructure sites.
