TB2 Aerospace successfully demonstrated its DROPS autonomous cargo delivery system for the U.S. Air Force's 820th Base Defense Group, using unmanned aircraft to autonomously deliver 22-pound payloads during airfield defense operations. The demonstration marks a key milestone under the company's AFWERX STTR Phase II contract supporting autonomous logistics for Agile Combat Employment missions.
