Sen. John Hoeven announced he secured more than $100 million in FY 2026 funding for Grand Forks’ aerospace and defense ecosystem, including support for LEO satellite operations, UAS research, protective coatings, hypersonics and regional defense R&D. The bill also includes $4 million to bring Q Station to Grand Forks, where it will partner with The Hive and help expand the state’s technology and UAS industries.
