Skyports Infrastructure deployed its Vertiport Automation System during a five-day eVTOL demonstration in Tokyo in late February, supporting SkyDrive flight operations over Tokyo Bay and previewing a future air taxi passenger terminal experience for the Japanese public.

Skyports Drone Services and HochTief have launched an automated BVLOS “drone‑in‑a‑box” system to survey the Rheinbrücke Leverkusen bridge construction project in Germany. Operated remotely from Madrid, the system delivers weekly 2D and 3D site data, improving accuracy, reducing staffing needs, and helping monitor progress on the bridge, which is expected to be completed by 2028.

Downtown Skyport hosted New York City’s first point-to-point eVTOL flights during Joby Aviation’s April–May “Electric Skies Tour,” supporting five landings and showcasing Manhattan’s readiness for future electric air taxi operations.
