Pierce Aerospace announced that it was awarded a $10 million Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) subcontract from Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering and innovative technology solutions, to support evolving requirements from the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate.

Pierce Aerospace announced the launch of its YR1 Remote ID Sensor this week. The YR1 Remote ID Sensor provides commercial and government stakeholders with affordable airspace awareness. The YR1 is the physical layer of the company's Flight Portal ID Remote ID Services and has been in use with early adopters and US Government customers since early 2024.
