Wisk Aero, an autonomous aviation company, and Liebherr-Aerospace, a first-tier provider of onboard solutions in the aerospace and transportation industries, announced an agreement for the development and supply of the actuation system for Wisk’s Generation 6 autonomous, all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.

Wisk Aero and Signature Aviation announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. This partnership marks a significant step forward to proactively develop the infrastructure and operational framework for integrating autonomous Advanced Air Mobility operations across Signature Aviation’s global network. This network includes locations in Wisk’s U.S. launch markets: Houston, Los Angeles, and Miami.

Wisk Aero announced it has acquired Verocel Inc., a software verification and validation company. Verocel’s unique expertise in supporting the certification of high-integrity aerospace software and the qualification of V&V tools will play a key role in Wisk’s ongoing effort to certify its Generation 6 autonomous, electric air taxi.
