Teledyne FLIR SIRAS Professional Drone is Now Available in Canada

Teledyne FLIR announced that, for the first time, the Teledyne FLIR SIRAS™ professional uncrewed aerial system (UAS) will be available across Canada.  This is being made possible through Rocky Mountain Unmanned Systems (RMUS). The SIRAS professional drone is designed for professional missions, including industrial and utilities inspection, firefighting, law enforcement, and search and rescue.

Teledyne Geospatial and Inertial Labs announced the launch of EchoONE, a collaborative innovation that combines Teledyne’s lidar and camera technology, with the Remote Sensing Payload Instrument (RESEPI), leveraging Inertial Labs’ IMU and INS technology.

Teledyne FLIR IIS introduced the Forge®️ 1GigE SWIR (Short Wave Infrared) 1.3 MP camera. The new camera features a design measuring 40mm x 40mm x 43mm that balances a compact size with superior image quality. Forge 1GigE SWIR includes advanced camera features such as Pixel Correction, Sequencer with Region of Interest, Logic Block, and Counter which provide reliable and precise control for variety of complex applications.

Teledyne FLIR Defense has signed a contract with Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, Norway, valued at roughly $31 million to provide its Cerberus® XL mobile counter-unmanned aerial system as part of a total C-UAS solution for Ukraine.

Teledyne FLIR announced momentum with its program for sUAS highlighted by the integration of its Hadron™ 640R dual visible-thermal payload within the recently announced Teal 2 drone and the Lepton® 3.5 thermal micro camera within the BRINC LEMER 2.
