2020 UAS Summit & Expo Goes Virtual, Moved to Late October
Grand Forks, ND – (September 29, 2020) – UAS Magazine announced the 14th annual UAS Summit & Expo, will be 100% virtual and has been moved to October 28-29, 2020.
“Due to travel restrictions, as well as feedback from our sponsors, exhibitors and speakers, we made the difficult decision to make this year’s event virtual,” says John Nelson, vice president of operations, sales & marketing for UAS Magazine. “With live presentations and virtual booths, we are confident that we can still deliver content and networking opportunities that match or exceed previous years.” The 2020 UAS Summit & Expo is expected to unite more than 500 industry thought leaders, policymakers and high-impact end-users to discuss the future of commercial, government and military drone usage.
The agenda will cover speakers from government, military and commercial UAV companies. Keynote speakers will include:
- Senator John Hoeven, U.S. Senate
- Administrator Steve Dickson Administrator, Federal Aviation Administration
- Dr. Will Roper (invited), Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, U.S. Air Force
- Senator Kevin Cramer, U.S. Senate
- Dr. Derek Tournear, Director, Space Development Agency
