By Patrick C. Miller | July 17, 2018

The Federal Aviation Administration is hosting a two-part webinar for drone pilots interested in obtaining a waiver to fly at night.

“The Dark Night: Part I” will be held Tuesday, July 24, and is the first episode of a live two-part series designed specifically for drone pilots who want to obtain a daylight operations waiver (107.29). This episode will cover the unique challenges operating at night brings and explicitly address Question #1 from the Waiver Safety Explanation Guidelines (WSEG). As a supplement, “The Dark Night: Part II” covers the WSEG’s remaining questions #2-#5.

Throughout the webinar, drone operators will have the opportunity to ask FAA experts questions about the daylight waiver application process.
