Woolpert has selected Kespry Inc. to supply commercial UAS systems to support its site surveying and mapping needs.

Kespry Inc., which designs automated UAS for commercial use, serves customers in the construction, mining and surveying and mapping industries. California-based Kespry offers companies a safe way to collect aerial images, maps and 2-D and 3-D data, according a news release from Kesprey Inc.

The Kespry Drone System helps customers better track flight progress, measure stockpiles and manage resources, the news release said.  Commercial customers are using Kespry Drone Systems because they can save time and money while, at the same time, safely and reliably obtaining accurate site assessments, Paul Doersch, Kespry CEO and founder said.

Kespry, based in Menlo Park, California, is an automated commercial drone solution that operates directly out of the case and enables its commercial customers to collect, analyze and share aerial information.

The Kespry Cloud allows it to quickly collect site information, process it and deliver the results to customers, Mark Power, Woolpert survey team leader said. Woolpert, an architectural, engineering and special firm with 25 offices across the United States, serves federal, state and local governments, private and public universities, energy and transportation and the U.S. Armed Forces.

The Kespry Drone System maps from 60 to 90 acres in a single flight and automatically creates multiple flights to map flights up to 600 acres. The UAS features automatic take-off, auto flight path and automatic landing with full safety control. The Kespry Drone System captures aerial site photos and automatically uploads them to an iPad tablet application and secure cloud storage for access by project teams.
