Northrop Grumman Corp. and 4iG Space and Defence Technologies Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding to deepen transatlantic cooperation in counter-unmanned aerial systems, space and advanced weapons technologies.The agreement aims to leverage the companies’ combined expertise to strengthen U.S. technological leadership, support Europe’s sovereign defense industrial base and enhance NATO capabilities through rapid innovation.“This collaboration with 4iG Space and Defence Technologies reinforces our commitment to expanding space and defense capabilities through trusted transatlantic partnerships,” said Steve O’Bryan, corporate vice president and global business development officer at Northrop Grumman. “Our combined expertise will deliver the speed, precision and resilience needed for today’s and tomorrow’s security challenges.”Dr. István Sárhegyi, CEO of 4iG Space and Defence Technologies, said defense industry ties between the United States and Hungary play a critical role within NATO. He added that the collaboration represents a milestone in strengthening those ties and positions Hungary as a European hub for selected defense technologies.Northrop Grumman brings a diversified portfolio of missile defense capabilities, including ready-now and next-generation technologies for end-to-end missile defeat.
